I don't have a lot to update on today. I am still working on the new base character models for Survival Ascension. It takes a while to create the level of detail I'm looking for in the models. And, after the models are created in the character modeling program, I will still need to export them to Blender and slice up their meshes into the various customizable components, then build out blend shapes for each component so they can be altered to each player's liking. I will also need to build out a series of skin texture variations. These include different skin tones, different bump maps, vein maps, freckle maps, mole maps, stretch marks, age spots, wrinkles, etc. My goal is for players to be able to choose from one of several different attractive base models of various ethnicities and gender and then customize those to your liking.
So, in the meantime, here is a teaser of the second female character I'm working on for the game.
